Since the close of our phase three consultation in December, we've been making great progress in developing our plans.

The Environment Secretary Steve Reed has directed that Anglian Water's proposed new reservoir in the Cambridgeshire Fens is a project for which an application for development consent is required since it is considered to be nationally significant.

This year we’re continuing to shape our proposals for a new reservoir, and its connecting infrastructure, in the Cambridgeshire Fens. We’ll soon be starting the latest phase of surveys to understand more about the land we could be working on.
